Presently we provide on-site care for 14 horses, three pigs, two goats, three alpacas, and one cat. Our monthly expense is approximately $7,000. This includes food, shavings, medications, supplements, and routine farrier care. This, however, does not include the element of surprise when one of the rescues is in need of emergency medical attention.
Operating a non-profit animal rescue organization is expensive! The more donors who make the commitment to give monthly through Patreon, the better informed our long-term decisions can be on behalf of the animals. We will be able to continue caring for the animals in our care, and we will be able to help more animals . . . because of YOU!
