If you know me personally, you know that I care for all animals, not just the animals in my care. My wish for all animals is that they receive kindness and compassion. I stopped consuming animals as a teenager, and in 2015 I made it a point to leave all animal derived products out of my diet. All animal products contain cholesterol. Cholesterol is one of the main causes of heart disease. Heart disease is the NUMBER ONE cause of death in the United States and throughout the world. Not only do I treasure my own health, I respect the life of others. Animal agriculture practices are extremely cruel and I choose not to support them. I do believe that many people do not realize just how horrific life and death is for animals in agriculture. It is in that light that I encourage you to watch any and all of the following documentaries that impacted me so that you can see and know for yourself what really happens. I will share this heart-felt message until the day I pass on (and do not be surprised if you still hear my nagging voice from the Great Beyond!) because I want to be a voice for ALL animals in need . . . Thank you for having an open mind and an open heart!
